David GordonRUTHERFORD (PRONCY FARM, DORNOCH)David Gordon Rutherford passed away peacefully, with his loving family by his side, following a short illness at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness on Tuesday 21st April 2026, aged 61 years. Dearly loved and devoted husband of Joyce, cherished dad of Neil and Morven and companion to his loyal dog Fern, dear son of Kathleen 'Betty' and the late Gordon, loved brother of Diane, Ian and Hazel, much loved uncle, cousin, nephew and a very dear friend to many.

David was a true gentleman and will forever be remembered for his kindness and dedicated work ethic.
Funeral service to be held at Dornoch Firth Parish Church (Dornoch Cathedral) on Saturday 16th May 2026, commencing at 12 noon. All family and friends respectfully invited. Private cremation at a later date.

Family flowers only please, but a donation, if desired, can be made at the service or online for Cancer Research, Scotland and SCAA-Scottish Air Ambulance.

So sad to hear of David’s passing. A true gentleman who enjoyed his country music. We met him at many festivals where he enjoyed his dancing and jiving. RIP x
